Let me walk you through a Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop

To give you a better idea of what to expect during the workshop, let's take a look at the agenda for our half-day experience.

Check-in & housekeeping rules (⏱️ ca. 30 mins.)

On arrival, I spend a few minutes showing you the venue and checking your documents and self-declaration. A hot cup of tea or coffee is the best companion for this moment!

Introduction to the WHM & the Pillars “Mindset & Commitment” and “Breathing” (⏱️ ca. 120 mins.)

We begin our time together with a brief introduction round. I’ll then give you an overview of the Wim Hof Method, the story behind it, and why it works so effectively. After that, we dive into the first two pillars: Mindset & Commitment and Breathing.

 

You’ll learn why the right mental attitude is essential for any Wim Hof practice – and how to find and maintain it in your daily life. Then we explore the anatomy of breathing and how specific techniques can positively influence your body.

 

Next comes the exciting part: we lie down on our mats, warm up with some focused breathing exercises, and then transition into a full Wim Hof breathing session. You’ll be surprised by what “simple breathing” can do for your body!

 

After the session, we briefly return to theory to understand what happened physiologically and why you feel the way you feel.

 

A short tea/coffee break with snacks (⏱️ approx. 15 minutes) gives you time to reflect on the experience and exchange impressions with others.

The Pillar “Cold Exposure” (⏱️ ca. 90 mins.)

Now it gets real – and exciting. After building the right mindset in the first part, we now focus on the third pillar of the Wim Hof Method: Cold Exposure.

 

We start with a short theory segment covering the essential background and safety guidelines, then warm up the body with targeted exercises. Afterwards, we head outside together – for the ice bath! One by one, you’ll step into the ice tub. Don’t worry: I’ll be right beside you the entire time, guiding and coaching you.

 

A key part of this final experience is warming up correctly right after the ice bath. It’s always a fun moment – the adrenaline rush brings lots of energy (and plenty of smiles)!

Wind down (⏱️ ca. 30 mins.)

Back inside, I wrap up the workshop with a few key takeaways. Another round of hot drinks and a healthy snack are the perfect opportunity to share your experiences with the group. To be honest, this is my favourite part of the whole workshop!
